New Community Center
&
Ocean Access Facilities

Community Center

The Lahaina Maritime Foundation is teaming up with the Lahaina Yacht Club in a fundraising venture to build a community center as part of the yacht club rebuild.

The intent is to provide an educational and meeting center, multi-sensory cultural and scientific displays, a community event space, and a vibrant place to gather and enjoy the shoreline.

We are currently waiting for government direction on shoreline building before we begin planning in earnest.

Greater Residential Access

Hawaii has the lowest resident to registered boat ratio in the entire nation due to limited facilities.

Creative solutions are needed for greater access to boat and other marine craft storage, docking and launching.

These would provide stronger disaster response capability, local jobs, and safe access to the ocean for more residents.

We support community assessment, consensus finding, fund raising and action to improve ocean access quality.

Join us! Contribute to our Community Facilities campaign. Your tax exempt donation will have direct impact and will allow us to create greater access, knowledge and good times!

Please send us a note to donate, we'll get back to you when our online payment system is active.
